Crosshair Tips

One part of my game that I always felt wasn't up to par, and I had a hard time figuring out how to fix it.  I'm talking about skeeting hunters mid air.  I would be able to follow them pretty well but my shots still weren't as accurate as they needed to be.  After watching the dpv video I decided to mess around with my crosshair settings, and the results have been very very good. 

Here are a list of the settings you can mess with:

cl_crosshair_dynamic (adjusts based on moving/firing)
cl_crosshair_thickness (self explanatory)
cl_crosshair_alpha (opacity I think)
cl_crosshair_red/blue/green (color)

I ended up going with the following settings, respectively

0
1
255
255, 0, 0

This gives me a small thin red crosshair, and I've found my shots have been a lot more accurate because of it.  It also always me to have more vision because the normal crosshair is pretty large.  I know most people probably already know about this, but it had completely slipped my mind from my competitive CS days and playing wow where I never had to worry about crosshair settings.  Hopefully this will help some players improve their game, and even if it isn't a big thing it is still better than nothing.
