Generally, I'm a pretty reasonable guy.  I don't go out of my way to screw with people who aren't deserving, usually at least.  However, anyone who knows me however will attest to the fact that I have no problem with going out of my way to **** with people that deserve it.  This is not limited to video games, but real life as well.  I thoroughly enjoy putting people in their place, and letting baddies know how bad they are.  Fortunately for me Left 4 Dead has its fair share of dicks, terrible players, and arrogant pricks.  Not only are there plenty of excuses for me to let my devious side show, but Left 4 Dead offers a variety of ways to **** with people I don't like.  So in my new series of articles, How to Grief, I will go over a variety of ways you can make the gaming experience of players you dislike absolutely miserable.

This first article will be about the various voice binds, how to edit the radial menus, and what my personal favorites are.

Radial Menus:
Here is a tutorial on editing radial menus - http://www.left4dead411.com/forums/index.php?action=vthread&forum=8&topic=7008

For voice radial menus, you are going to want to change the things following command to vocalize

Voice Commands:
For just about every voice command there are multiple associated sound files.  If you wish to see the associated voice commands go to the left4dead/sound/player/survivor/voice directory and you will see all the respective folders for the 4 survivors. (not all are labled correctly)

Personally I prefer individual binds as opposed to the radial menus, mainly because they are far more spammable

To do this simply open console and type bind "vocalize "

Example: bind x "vocalize PlayerDeath" (this actually corresponds to DeathScream sound file)

Some of my personal favorites include:
PlayerDeath - Obnoxious screaming/dying sound
PlayerNegative - This is louis' Ohhhh oHHH NOoooooooo oOHHHHH oh NOOOOOOO
PlayerWarnBoomer - Screams boomer
PlayerWarnTank - Screams tank
PlayerTaunt - kill taunts
PlayerHelp - yells for help
PlayerHurrah - taunt
PlayerLaugh - self explanatory
PlayerVomitinFace - mostly cursing
PlayerNo - great for spamming when you melee hunters mid air

Just remember if people try to vote kick you for spamming voice binds you can always type kill and console and **** them over even more.

I have death scream and the playerlaugh corresponding with my shoot(mouse 1).
So whenever I press mouse 1 to shoot, my character laughs. lol..

Spawn exploit. I don't do this unless enemy team gays us by trying to bypass the crescendo events.

It's actually ******* amazing.. because people who try to bypass crescendo events are really big douche bags who think they're sooo cool. Then wham, 20 hunters inc. Have fun with that ******.
