Alienware Arena Left 4 Dead Tournament

iGames and CEVO have announced a free online tournament for Left 4 Dead, featuring $1,500 in cash prizes. It's part of the new Alienware Arena gaming league (http://www.alienwarearena.com).

Alienware Arena is excited to present the Survival of the Fittest tournament for Left 4 Dead. Tell your friends and register today – it’s free to compete and you’ll have a chance at a $1,500 cash prize pool.

In the opening phase of the tournament, August 10th – September 3rd, up to 256 teams will compete in group play matches with up to 8 teams per group. The top team from each group, 32 groups in all, will advance to the double-elimination finals bracket running from September 10th to October 8th.

The Survival of the Fittest Championship on Saturday, October 10th will feature the top 8 teams and will broadcast on the Alienware Arena site by the casters from PwnageTV. We promise there will be plenty of flesh destroying action!

All matches will be played 4-on-4 versus mode, using official maps and custom server plug-ins for match management. The Match Network Client will ensure fair game play and enable teams to reach each other at game time.
